The hopelessness of the situation shows on these faces. On the balcony of Malwi’s largest hospital. The temperature was near 40 degrees fahrenheit during the evening and yet these patients and their families remainded on the balcony of the hospital since there was no room inside.
In some cases patients were on the beds while others slept on a mat under that bed.
