One can never imagine what it fully means to be the second or third poorest nation on earth until you enter a hospital like this one in the capital. Seeing the outer hallway filled with patients on beat up, broken down beds and supply rooms empty of the much needed medicines and suppies leaves one speechless and determined to do something to help the kind and gentle people in this part of the world. After being in Malawi I will not complain about the first class care one receives in the hospitals of the developed world.
