Distribution from the shipment of 33,000 books sent by the Western HIlls Church of Christ in Austin, Texas, late last year, has reached into over 1,000 schools in all three regions of Malawi. During a recent visit by Brielle Read, the Austin teen-ager who inspired the program, she had the opportunity to visit a Malawi school, and see books she and the church had gathered, prepared and shipped, and to meet some of the teachers who are excited with the books. At the distribution warehouse she talked with Wilson Tembo about the book distribution. Wilson is in charge of the warehouse that received the shipment, and has been instrumental in getting the books out to the schools.
