FORKLIFT MAKES PREPARATION EASIER

Lebanon, Indiana … Did you know a 40-foot trailer, or shipping container, can easily hold over 900 boxes? And did you know that in the past 30 years of working in Malawi the Project has sent 342 containers? Admittedly, not all of those have been loaded from the Malawi Project headquarters in Lebanon, Indiana, but a sizeable number of them have as their loading address the Lebanon or Indianapolis facilities.

Recently while on a visit to the Lebanon warehouse Ralph Captain, a major contributor from eastern Ohio, noted a simple pallet jack was the only means of moving the pallets around the staging area in preparation for outbound trailers. Noting he was going to change that, he returned in a few days with the forklift seen in the picture. Life just became easier for those who helped prepare the shipments for Malawi, thanks to the compassionate concern of an observant contributor.
