RACE IS NECK AND NECK TO THE FINISH

Who Will be First at the Finish Line?

Lilongwe, Malawi and Indianapolis, Indiana … If one did not know better, it could be concluded the contractor and the fundraisers are in a race to see who reaches the finish line first. The problem is if the fundraisers reach the needed funds first, there is no problem. However, if the finish line is crossed by the contractor first the contract calls for making the final payment for the building.   As the crew climbs among the cross beams, and the crane moves more into place, it is evident the contractor is very close to his original schedule, completion by the end of July or the first of August. The fund-raising efforts are a bit behind schedule as the support base is small and the need is great. Many who have given once early in the campaign are needed to repeat a second time. A large number who have never given are being asked to give for this final leg, even if it is a small amount. The fact is if everyone who reads this story would give $25.00 or even $50.00 the goal would easily be reached.
