Hanneck Redson is a 9 year old by with a soft smooth complexion and big dark eyes. He is also suffering from a rheumatic heart disease, and was recently admitted to a local hospital where a visiting American cardiologist diagnosed the boy as having a heart disease. A murmur was heard all over the boy’s cardiac area. Medication was prescribed. He was to take a Benzedrine penicillin injection once a month.
Unfortunately the boy’s mother could not afford to settle the medical bills. This fact came to the attention of Dr. Smith Chibaka of the Sacred Promise Clinic. Through the donation of medical supplies and financial support from the Malawi Project the financial burden on the mother was taken away.
The boy’s health is now being carefully monitored and he is getting his monthly penicillin injection.
