FIVE CONTAINERS HEADED FOR MALAWI

With support from contributors in the U.S., Canada, and Germany five containers of supplies (40-foot shipping containers) are in transit or have just arrived from the U.S.. They are destined for hospitals, schools, churches, and poor villages and villagers throughout Malawi. The shipments are carrying a wide variety of assistance. Hand Sanitizer and medical gowns from Empire Lodging in Seattle, Washington, Clorox from World Emergency Relief in Southern California, another 230 mobility units from Mobility Ministries in Demotte, Indiana, and a shipment of over 1,000 items for medical, agricultural, educational, and religious organizations in Malawi from the Malawi Project home base in Lebanon, Indiana.

            All five containers are expected to be in Malawi between now and late October . They will be sorted and distributed from the large Action for Progress warehouse in Lilongwe, the capital city of the country. They will then be distributed to needy people and organizations in all three regions the nation.
