Project Lends A Hand Up North

Working closely with major contributors, members of the Malawi Project were able to procure approximately three quarters of a million dollars in medical supplies and equipment for a new medical facility in South Sudan. Sponsored by the Mt. Juliet Church of Christ, in Mt Juliet, Tennessee the Sudan Project is taking a page out of the plan book for the Malawi Project in order to give assistance to the people of South Sudan.

A recent air shipment with a million dollars in medicine added to the program, and was flown into Kampala, Uganda, then sent overland to the new medical facilities south of the capital city of Juba, South Sudan.

Plans by members of the Sudan and Malawi Projects to travel to the facilities in April and May were interrupted by renewed hostilities with South Sudan’s northern neighbor, Sudan.
