According to the Safe Travel website on 17 June 2021:
- Visitors are not allowed to enter. – This does not apply to nationals or residents of Malawi and their family members.
- Passengers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued at most 72 hours before arrival.
- Passengers are subject to medical screening and self-quarantine for 14 days.
- Passengers are subject to a Covid-19 test upon arrival.
- Passengers must complete a “Travel Surveillance Form” and present it upon arrival.
