VOLUNTEER WORKERS RECOGNIZED

with No Comments

Lebanon, Indiana … Near the conclusion of a recent Sunday morning worship service special recognition was extended to three members of the Lebanon Church of Christ. In recognition of their exceptional commitment, and time spent, to help the people of Malawi, the Project’s Board of Directors acknowledged Marvin and Theresa Hayden, along with Doug McDonald, for their efforts. Each were given Certificates of Excellence for their volunteer efforts.

Doug and Marvin serve as an elder and deacon respectively in the local congregation, while at the same time donating countless hours in gathering, sorting, and packing supplies for Malawi. Theresa, a retired schoolteacher, has worked tirelessly to gather school supplies and impute contributor names to the Project’s database.

At the June board meeting the Directors voted unanimously to recognize the contribution these three volunteers have given to the Project.
